Jonatan is a South Bay native and is a Redondo Union High School alumni.

Jonatan is the Executive Director of the United Cannabis Business Association (UCBA). He has been on several cannabis advisory committees including LA County, Redondo Beach, and Hermosa Beach. He has held educational meetings for many legislative groups such as the Council of Governments. He spends time in Sacramento working on cannabis regulations.
Recently, he was even asked to apply for one of the important roles in the cannabis industry in LA – the City of LA Department of Cannabis Regulation. Also, he has cannabis distribution and delivery licenses.
Jonatan and I met at a Women Grow meeting in 2017 in West Hollywood where Jonatan was the keynote speaker. We learned that we live on the same street in Redondo Beach; less than a mile from each other. Since then, we’ve been advocating together for cannabis legalization in Redondo. A longer road to legalization than either of us ever expected - almost 10 years.
Jonatan is one of the most ethical people I know and I so admire his efforts on behalf of the cannabis industry. Plus, I am honored to call him my friend.
